Call for Individuals to Join CDC’s Ebola Response Team in the DR Congo

CDC’s Mission in DR Congo

Provide support to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to eliminate the transmission of Ebola in the affected health zones and region and by strengthening the public health planning, preparedness and coordination within DRC.

How can you help?

To assist in controlling the current Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), CDC is in need of experienced French-speaking public health professionals with the following skill sets to deploy to Goma and other locations in DRC:

1. Epidemiologists

2. Data managers

3. Risk communicators

4. Behavioral scientists

5. Infection control specialists

6. Health educators

For each of these positions in DRC, previous Ebola and/or international response experience is preferred, but not required, and an intermediate to advanced level of French is required.
