Call for Members: CUGH Capacity Building Subcommittee

The CUGH Capacity Building Subcommittee is recruiting new members. The Capacity Building Subcommittee is part of the Education Committee. Our mandate is to help strengthen CUGH’s activities across global health research, education and service; make recommendations concerning improving CUGH’s activities; gather and disseminate information on good practices, training modules, opportunities and research; facilitate partnership development; improve articulation and coordination of GH activities between member institutions, and consider any additional matters requested by CUGH’s Secretariat and Board of Directors.

Our primary work has been with the development of a database which will provide opportunities for partnership formation by connecting institutions with training resources to share with those institutions that have training resource needs. The database is ready to be launched and we are looking for new members who will contribute ideas to the enhancement and use of this potentially powerful resource in supporting and enhancing educational partnerships in global health. We are looking in particular for people with an interest and expertise in database technology and research as well as implementation science. We are building a diverse interdisciplinary team of people with experience in global health education, research and systems strengthening.

In order to join CUGH Education Committee Capacity Building Subcommittee you must be a member of CUGH or affiliated with an institution that is a member. Members must actively participate in order to maintain membership in the subcommittee.
