Member Highlights: Child Family Health International
Child Family Health International (CFHI) is a non-profit CUGH member who partners with universities to meet student demand for international fieldwork and practicums without compromising quality, safety, and academic rigor. CFHI is on the cutting edge of competency-based education, pre-departure training, and inter-professional global health engagement. Its programs are known for providing an asset-based narrative about global health featuring community-based realities and expertise.
CFHI recently announced a new partnership with cross-cultural corporate effectiveness leader, Aperian Global. Through this new partnership, CFHI will make use of Aperian Global's online tool, GlobeSmart. This tool will be made available to all students taking part in CFHI's over 30 Global Health Education Programs in 9 countries, which recently expanded to include new programs in Ghana and the Philippines.
CFHI is currently accepting applications for these programs, as well as its Global Health Intensives Scholarships page for upcoming application deadlines and instructions on how to apply. CFHI has Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC and Gold GuideStar status.
