Member Highlights: University of Vermont College of Medicine

Global Health Diaries recounts the reflections of medical students, residents, and physicians at University of Vermont College of Medicine and Western Connecticut Health Network engaged in global health electives around the world, including in Uganda, Russia, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, and the Dominican Republic. During these six-week global health rotations focused on clinical work as well as cultural immersion, participants gain a deeper understanding of medicine across cultures while giving back to individuals and communities. Their stories capture the ways in which they are challenged, moved, and inspired to fight for global health equity.
