CUGH's 5th annual meeting was held May 9 to 12, 2014 in Washington DC. Over 1450 people attended the event representing 54 countries and over 205 institutions.
The conference’s theme was "Universities 2.0: Global Health in the post MDG Era". Eleven tracks were used to organize the 550 abstracts and over 60 panels and workshops that were featured. This included areas as diverse as education, economics, OneHealth, non- communicable diseases, the environment, the global surgical deficit, maternal health, politics, advocacy, human rights, food security, managing a global health program, overseas placements and much more. We are grateful to all those who participated and helped to make it our most successful conference yet.
