Program description: 

The discipline of international health has evolved significantly over the past 150 years, and along with it, great interest in solving and preventing the world’s biggest health problems. To meet this growing interest among our students and faculty, NYIT created the Center for Global Health in 2007 as a collaboration between the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Health Professions The Certificate in Global Health immerses you in a challenging interdisciplinary curriculum and provides the opportunity to understand health policy, practice, and the significant health challenges facing the world’s underserved populations. Upon completion of this certificate program, you will be prepared to take on an exciting role in the field of public health anywhere in the world.
