Doctoral Program in Global Health Leadership (DrPH)
The Doctoral Program in Global Health Leadership (DrPH) prepares mid-career professionals for senior-level positions in organizations working domestically and internationally to improve the public’s health. The three-year, cohort-based distance program confers a DrPH from the Department of Health Policy and Management, Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. With the exception of three short visits to Indianapolis or an alternate, overseas location in each of years one and two, learning takes place in participants’ homes and offices, away from the IUPUI campus. Students connect for live classes via internet video. The distance format allows working professionals to complete the program in their own countries while continuing full-time employment. We seek individuals who aspire to practice-oriented careers and leadership roles in organizations in which they can have maximum influence on the public’s health.
