Weill Cornell Medicine, the medical college of Cornell University, has a robust global health concentration focusing on course electives, applied experiences abroad, and collaborative research with partners around the globe. Students may elect the Global Health Area of Concentration to fulfill requirements for graduation from the medical school. Course electives and participation in the Global Health curriculum is expected. A written scholarly project on an aspect of global health as well as an applied experience of at least 6 weeks abroad are requirements for this Area of Concentration.
