Master of Public Health, Global Health concentration

Program description: 

The University of Maryland School of Medicine Master of Public Health Program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The program has three concentrations: Epidemiology, Community & Population Health and Global Health. The program requires the fulfillment of core, concentration and elective courses as well as a Capstone Experience. The Capstone provides invaluable field experience and consists of a proposal, 240 hours in a public health agency working on a supervised, pre-approved project, an oral defense and a portfolio. The MPH Program is part of the comprehensive academic community of professional schools at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. If interested, our unique campus environment allows students to pursue their choice of dual degrees: JD/MPH, MD/MPH, MS Nursing/MPH, PharmD/MPH, MSW/MPH, DDS/MPH.
