Master of Public Health - Global Health Track
The Department of Public Health Sciences at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine offers students the option of pursuing the global health track as part of the Master of Public Health program or obtaining a graduate certificate in global health. Both options reflect Penn State’s broader commitment to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities and to promote a global understanding through integrated programs in education, research and service. The program is designed to provide a framework in which students explore public health issues from a global perspective. Through the global health curriculum, students understand global health disparities and discover promising health care solutions through applied coursework and international field experiences. International experience is a critical step for students to gain practical knowledge and skills in global health. Through the Global Health Exchange Program, Penn State students have the opportunity to travel abroad to study and work on public health issues, as well as engage with international students from partner institutions in our dynamic Hershey summer course.
