Course duration: 5 days in November

The short course has been run for 14 years and over 1000 students from around the world have benefited from the course. The course will run for five consecutive days (Monday to Friday). Teaching will be by staff from the Department of Infectious & Tropical Diseases at the School, the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and invited external speakers eminent in the field of travel medicine and infectious diseases.

This course is designed for physicians and nurses who provide a pre-travel health service. It aims to provide general practitioners, practice nurses and other health professionals with an opportunity to develop and update their knowledge and skills in travel medicine.

Accreditation: 30 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits have been awarded by the Royal College of Physicians for this course previously, and we expect the same approval for the next courses.
