Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery Program

Program description:

The MMSc-GHD program provides a rigorous cross-university curriculum focused on developing the tools needed to perform social and delivery science and policy research in resource-limited settings. Students complete coursework in research methods, management, and social medicine, and take electives from across Harvard University. Under supervision of faculty who have implemented global health research projects and programs, students develop and implement a field-based research project. This research project gives students practical experience designing, conducting, and evaluating innovative global health delivery programs. Beyond developing skills in global health delivery, students have the opportunity to contribute to the quality of health care delivery at the sites where they work and to contribute to the growing knowledge base that is transforming global health. Students graduate from the program equipped with the knowledge and skills to become leaders in global health delivery.
