Announcing CUGH's Global Health Capitol Hill Day, November 19, 2019

Last year, the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) secured a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to work with the US academic community to increase support for US leadership and funding for global health. To achieve this objective, we are collaborating with our members to inform members of Congress, State legislators and the public about the value of global health to their community, state, nation and the world.

Introducing CUGH's Gun Control Tracker

Every year more than 100,000 Americans are shot. Of these, 30,000 people die. This is a preventable, public health disaster and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) is addressing it with a simple, non-partisan call for action. Below, please find our Gun Control Tracker that shows if current US congresspersons are supporters or opponents of gun safety regulations.

Read CUGH's August Bulletin

'This has been a tragic month with mass murders in the United States, bombings in Afghanistan and the slaughter of dozens of innocent people in Somalia, Syria and Nigeria. In all of these grotesque acts of terrorism, civilians are the primary victims. Our hearts go out to them and their families'. - Executive Director, CUGH ( August Bulletin, Message)
