The African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth) is a consortium of over 40 institutions across the continent of Africa. The AFREhealth-CUGH working group (ACWG) operationalizes activities between CUGH and AFREhealth. It has three areas of focus: strengthening education and research capacity in African institutions and fostering bilateral, equitable student exchanges.
Its overriding focus is to strengthen capacity in African institutions as defined by those institutions and forge equitable, effective collaborations between AFREhealth and CUGH members to address global health challenges.
