The Consortium of Universities for Global Health is one of the world’s largest academic based global health consortia. Based in Washington, DC it has a membership of over 170 academic institutions and partner organizations and a network of 38,000 global health practitioners worldwide. Its mission is to improve the health of people and the sustainability of the planet.

CUGH has a Trainee Advisory Committee comprised of 25 global health students from around the world. They implement activities by and for students and act as a conduit for CUGH activities to learners worldwide. Many early-career global health practitioners and students have been seeking a way to network worldwide. In response to this interest, CUGH has created the Young Global Health Professional Network. Its purpose is to provide such a global network where students and young global health professionals can connect, share interests, advice, and opportunities.
