Undergraduate Certificate in Global Health

Program description: 

The Undergraduate Global Health Certificate is a 19 credit hour program that offers Ohio University undergraduate students in all disciplines a unique interprofessional opportunity for undergraduate students interested in gaining a global perspective on healthcare through coursework and a one-week capstone/field experience. All core courses, as well as many electives, are offered online. Students gain an understanding of the factors that influence health globally, gain hands-on experience in the ethical, practical and multicultural aspects of global health and learn about interprofessional global health related needs and opportunities.
